GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The Alliance pursues its goals in an environment calling for fundamentally new approaches to business security and protection of individuals and assets from criminal threats, fraudulent commercial operations and corruption among bureaucrats of various levels.

The Alliance was conceived as an instrument protecting private businesses and facilitating the dialogue between Russian and international businesses and non-governmental security structures. Concerted efforts of top managers of private companies and security agencies have had a strong positive effect on the ethics of business transactions in Russia.

The Alliance's strategy requires new mechanisms to build a synergy between private businesses and non-governmental security structures and devise security programs that will ensure all-round security of the clients and at the same time help them to make their operations more efficient economically, enhance their financial stability, cost-efficiency and profitability, create favorable environment for their commercial operations and maintain their positive image and business reputation.

To put it otherwise, the goal of the Alliance is to coordinate entrepreneur activities of the Alliance members and represent and safeguard their material interests.

The objectives of the Alliance include:

— safeguarding the interests of Russian and foreign businesses that contribute to the efficient development of the national economy;

— representing and defending lawful rights and interests of the Alliance members in judicial, banking and other governmental and non-governmental bodies;

— working out a common approach to economic reforms and business security policies;

— encouraging foreign investment by expanding business ties between the Alliance members and international financial and industrial circles, as well as their associated business security structures;

— assisting law enforcement organizations in maintaining law and order and ensuring security of the citizens;

— developing and promoting laws and regulations that encourage self-sufficiency, reliability, steady development and efficient operations of the Alliance members;

— assisting the Alliance members in strengthening their internal security;

— participating in public organizations and legislative and executive bodies to uphold their programs aimed at preventing and lessening threats to national economic interests;

— coordinating efforts directed at enhancing the efficiency of the Alliance members' operations;

— assisting the Alliance members in drafting contractual documents relating to their entrepreneur activities and conducting market surveys;
carrying out analytical projects as may be required for the Alliance members;

— establishing cooperation with Russian and foreign organizations and associations whose activity falls within the Alliance's sphere of interests.
